Description

THIS IS AMENDMENT 03 TO THE VA COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION VA-791-06-RQ-0013, AS POSTED ON SEP 06, 2006. The purpose of this amendment is to clarify the pricing strategy expected in this acquisition. The prices proposed by the offeror for the base period, and each option period, should be the fixed-price amounts for this service, and should reflect the price to be paid by the Government for this service less any anticipated amounts recovered in reimbursements from insurance and individual sources, as billed for applicable ALS or BLS categories of transports and care. As a result of this amendment, offerors will be permitted to revise the pricing submitted in their offers. The revisions, if submitted, cannot change the technical portions of the offers previously submitted, and do not constitute the opening of discussions or the submission of "Final Pricing Revisions" as defined in FAR Part 15. All other terms and conditions are unchanged. The date responses are due is extended to 10:00 A.M. (local time) on 22 September 2006.
