- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the ONLY solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F1TTBA6254A100 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). A site visit is not feasible due to end of fiscal-year budget and time constraints. Service to be completed at Eglin AFB, FL 32542 and is subject to inspection and acceptance by an authorized government official. (Pressure wash as needed) 2. Inspect court surface for any minor depressions. Flood entire court surface, if necessary, and fill those depressions to the height of the surface around the edge of depressions to eliminate water problems. 3. Examine court surface for any cracks and fill those major cracks with patch crack filler, then overlay cracks with a fiberglass or polyester membrane if needed. 4. After patching and leveling is completed, apply a WORLD CLASS or equal tennis court playing surface in accordance with industry and accepted standards. Apply a total of four (4) coats of material to the surface, with one (1) additional coat on the heavy-wear areas. 5. Clean and repaint existing net posts with a rust-resistant paint. 6. Remove existing open-cog net post reels. 7. Install NEW safety reels (LEE 130 or equal). 8. Apply new regulation playing lines per USTA rules and regulations.
