Description
This notice entitled, Name Brand Solicitation for Omniview KVM Switch Boxes, is cancelled and re-issued as follows: This notice is posted as intent to award contract for commercial items. The items required under this contract will be deemed brand n ame in nature in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6 - Brand Name or Equal. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations, but a notice of the Governments intent to procure the following items: F1DN104U - Omniview Sec ure 4port KVM EAL4 NIAP USB in & out Technical Specs: USB KVM switch, dedicated processor per computer port; no memory buffer or data-storage capability, non reprogrammable firmware, NIAP Common Criteria validation to EAL 4; Monitor support - CRT & LCD (w/ VGA support); Resolution support - up to 1920x1440@75Hz; Console Keyboard Input - USB Type A Console mouse input; USB Type A Console Monitor Port - HDDB15 female (VGA); CPU Keyboard/Mouse Ports - USB Type B CPU; Monitor Ports - HDDB15 male (VGA); Direct Port Selectors - 4 LEDs: Quantity required--263 789 each; Quantity required--263 789 each; 6 FT All In One USB KVM Cable for F1D104-USB ROHS: Quantity required--789 each; F3X1962-10 - 10 ft all In one USB KVM Cable for USB KVM Switch F1D104-USB ROHS: Quant ity required--100 each. JUSTIFCATION FOR INSCOMs PROCUREMENT OF BRAND NAME OR EQUAL items listed above: a. Functionality: These switchboxes are necessary to mitigate the user space restrictions necessary since most of the users have the need for at least two to three workstations. b. Hardware: The hardware specifications in the purchase request cannot be altered, changed or substituted. c. Maintenance: There is no maintenance available for these switchboxes and it is cost effective for the Government to begin the Life-Cycle Replacement of these components. d. Compatibility: Switchboxes must meet the following technical specifications to meet mission and security requirements: USB KVM switch, dedicated processor per computer port; no memory buffer or data-storage capability, non reprogrammable firmware, N IAP Common Criteria validation to EAL 4; Monitor support - CRT & LCD (w/VGA support); Resolution support - up to 1920x1440@75Hz; Console Keyboard Input - USB Type A Console mouse input; USB Type A Console Monitor Port - HDDB15 female (VGA); CPU Keyboard/Mo use Ports - USB Type B CPU; Monitor Ports - HDDB15 male (VGA); Direct Port Selectors - 4 LEDs The hardware specifications cannot be altered, changed or substituted.
