- The Government intends to award sole source utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures to: Perkin Elmer, 710 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT 06484. The proposed contract action is for Qsmart Upgrade kit and Field Install Alpha Beta Kit for upgrade and modification of Packard TriCarbon 2700 Liquid Scintillation counter. The NAICS is 339111 with a size standard of 500. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may id entify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by 10:00 AM EST, September 25, 2006. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the descretion of the Government.
