This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.***** The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons is considering solicitation for the provision of pharmacy technician services to medium and high security prisoners incarcerated at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Big Sandy, located in Inez, Kentucky. Specific information regarding USP Big Sandy is located on the Bureau of Prisons website (www.bop.gov). Contractor will be responsible to provide professional pharmacy technician services for two positions. Individuals providing service must be a high school graduate or equivalent and possess a minimum of 3 years experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a related medical field. The estimated requirement for service is approximately 30 hours per week each contract year. Interested sources are encouraged to view the questionnaire below and submit a response and capability information for acquisition planning purposes. A solicitation for this requirement may or may not result in a contract award for service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.
