This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government.***** The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 10. The Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons is considering solicitation for the provision of pharmacy technician services to medium and high security prisoners incarcerated at the United States Penitentiary (USP) Big Sandy, located in Inez, Kentucky. Specific information regarding USP Big Sandy is located on the Bureau of Prisons website (www.bop.gov). Contractor will be responsible to provide professional pharmacy technician services for two positions. Individuals providing service must be a high school graduate or equivalent and possess a minimum of 3 years experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a related medical field. The estimated requirement for service is approximately 30 hours per week each contract year. Interested sources are encouraged to view the questionnaire below and submit a response and capability information for acquisition planning purposes. A solicitation for this requirement may or may not result in a contract award for service. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary and the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. Proprietary information received should be marked appropriately. MARKET RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE Non-Personal Pharmacy Technician Services United States Penitentiary Big Sandy, Inez, Kentucky Please furnish, on letterhead or company stationary, the following information in reference to your firm: Name; Address; Point of Contact; E-mail Address; Telephone Number; Fax Number; Company Website To aid in our research of the local market, please answer the following questions if you are interested in providing contracted Pharmacy Technician services at USP, Big Sandy. 1. Would your firm provide services as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor? 2. Under North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code 621399, Offices of All Other Miscellaneous Health Practitioners, the small business size standard is $6.5 million (below $6.5 million in gross revenues is considered small, above $6.5 million in gross revenues is considered large).
