Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Stratton VA Medical Center, 113 Holland Ave, Albany, NY 12208, announces its intent to solicit a firm-fixed price contract with a qualified and responsible firm already established in the business to provide all labor, material, and travel to perform courier services for lab specimens and small amounts of mail from December 1, 2006 through November 30, 2007. NAICS code 492110 and small business size standard 1,500 employees will apply to this solicitation. The solicitation will be posted and available for download from http://fedbizopps.gov/. Offers will be due in the issuing office on or before 3:00p.m Eastern Time on October 26, 2006.Any amendments issued will be posted on http://fedbizopps.gov/. All responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. As of October 1, 2003, all firms are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database before an award can be made to that firm. This procurement is set aside for small business.
