Description

The Food and Drug Administration intends to award a firm fixed price contract to REIT Management and Research of Washington, DC on a sole source basis for 37 parking spaces (35 regular and 2 reserved surface lot spaces) located at 1401 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852-1448 for a term of 12 months with an option of 36 months. This action is proposed on a sole source basis because of the necessary close proximity of the source?s parking facilities to the FDA facilities located at 1401 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852-1448. The proposed source is for commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. This is not a request for quotes; however, sources may submit descriptive literature, which fully demonstrates their capability to provide parking in close proximity to this FDA facility for consideration by the agency. Interested parties may identify their interest by responding to this requirement within 5 calendar days after the date of publication of this notice. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; and no other notices or solicitations will be issued. This acquisition is not being set aside. The period of performance for the base contract is from 11/01/2006 to 09/30/2007 with three option years.
