Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a firm fixed price delivery order to McDonnell Douglas Corporation a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-05-G-0026. The delivery order is to redesign an F/A-18 aircraft (F85) to an Accurate Navigation (ANAV) configuration and includes installation of Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) Aided Inertial Navigation Reference (GAINR) and GPS denial test equipment. McDonnell Douglas Corporation a wholly owned subsidiary of the Boeing Company as the designer, developer, integrator, and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft is the only known source available to provide the required effort in the required time frame.
