Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, subpart 6.302-1, the REDCOM Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division intends to contract with Motorola, Inc., 7031 Colu mbia Gateway Dr., 3rd Floor, Columbia, MD 21046-2289 on a sole source basis for Maintenance Services for a Motorola Trunking System for FY 07 to include Infrastructure Repair, Onsite Infrastructure Response, System Survey and Analysis and Manpower Reportin g. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their abi lity to meet the Governments needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to REDCOM Acquisition Center, 10-020 Kabrich Circle, Bldg 17-120 ARSRD-ACC-P, Attn: Richard Maxwell, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500, 870-540-3024 or richard.e.maxwell@us.army.mil. T his synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written response is received within 7 days from the publication of this synopsis, a purchase order may be issued to Motorola, Inc. w ithout further notice. See note 22.
