- This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for COMMERCIAL ITEMS in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicita tion; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request For Quotation (RFQ), W15P7T-07-Q-D604. The United States Army Communications and Electronics Life Cycle Command (CE-LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to procure an action that will provide for Unix based ELT4000 software licenses and one-year maintenance to include an option. The softwa re licenses and maintenance supports the fielding to units deployed worldwide in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)/Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF). Specifically, this action will provide for 92 new ELT4000 licenses with maintenance. The proposed one-year maintenance action covers technical support, phone assistance, patches and software maintenance upgrades for new and existing software licenses purchased. Options will be included in the proposed contract for the following: 1) two years of one-yea r maintenance on 1,000 existing ELT 4000 software licenses for the Software Engineering CenterFort Huachucas (SEC-Hs) IFS; 2) Up to 200 additional ELT 4000 software licenses and one-year of maintenance support; 3) one-year of extended maintenance supp ort for up to 200 ELT 4000 software licenses and 4) one-year of additional maintenance support for the 92 ELT 4000 software licenses to be acquired under the proposed action. This is a sole sourced effort to Overwatch Systems in accordance FAR 6.302-1. The NAICS code for this procurement is 541511. Place of performance is at contractors plant.
