Description

The United States Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity intends to award a contract on a non-competitive basis for the purchase and delivery of a Luminex 100 Flow Cytometry unit with the XY Platform and the SD. The anticipated award will be mad e under the Authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source, to Luminex Corporation, 12212 Technology Boulevard, Austin, TX 78727. Specifically, FAR 6.302-1(b)(2), states, the existence of limited rights in data&make the supplies&available from only once source. The United States Army Medical Institute for Infectious Disease (USAMRIID) needs a flow cytometry unit that allows for multiplexed assays. The Luminex 100 allows for 100 simultaneous analytes. It is, to our knowledge, the only such unit with that capabil ity. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice.
