Description
General Services Administration is seeking potential sources to construct three break rooms for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in Terminal A and C of the George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston, TX. This request for information is being used as a marketing research tool to determine the availability and adequacy of potential HUBZone Small Business concerns. NO PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AT THIS TIME. Based on a review of the industry responses to this Sources Sought Synopsis, the Government will decide whether it is appropriate to offer the solicitation as HUBZone Small Business set-aside. The anticipated North American Industries Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 and the small business size standard is $31million. Your firm will have to perform a minimum of fifteen percent of the work with your own organization. Please submit a capability statement indicating your interest and ability to meet the stated requirements. The information shall include past performance references for similar projects that you have completed as the prime contractor. The reference information shall include contract number, short description of work accomplished, and point of contacts (POC). The POC information needs to include the full address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and email address. Similar is defined for this project as: renovation and expansion of a high security area that is fully occupied and functioning on a 24 hours basis. The minimum dollar value is $350,000.00 including modifications. The work must have been performed in the last five years. The firm must have an active registration in the Central Contactor Registration which may be attained at www.ccr.gov. A thorough background check will be conducted on all employees that perform work on the jobsite. Any information submitted by the respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. The Government is not obligated to nor will pay for any information received from any potential sources as a result of this synopsis. This is not a solicitation nor will a solicitation result from this notice or announcement. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This synopsis does not restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach. No award will be made as result of this notice. If a formal solicitation is generated at a later date a solicitation notice will be published.
