Description
CONTACT Joseph Rauner, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-9117 or Mr. Philip Mercurio, Branch Chief, (732) 532-9562. This is a Market Survey to identify sources for FIREFINDER AN/TPQ-36(V) Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) depot level repair services over a con tract performance period of 5 years. Performance requirements will include circuitry repairs as well as repair of internal vacuum elements and replacement of entire vacuum assembly as needed. The items are identified as follows: Government P/N SM-D-800074-1, previously identified under Hughes/Boeing P/N 1742H, NSN 5960-01-089-3554. Government P/N SM-D-800074-2, previously identified under Litton P/N L5772-50, NSN 5960-01-323-6432. The Government intends to order an initial quantit y estimated at 5 units (SM-D-800074-1) and 9 units (SM-D-800074-2) which will be executed with issuance of the first Delivery Order at time of contract award. Potential services for the remaining contract performance period are estimated at 5 to 20 units ( SM-D-800074-1) and 9 units (SM-D-800074-2) per year. A performance spec for the end assembly exists and will be specified, but detailed technical data and test/repair documentation pertaining to the existing designs will not be supplied by the Army as the y are not available. Interested suppliers capable of successfully providing the required services must so indicate, by writing to U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command, LRC IEW&S Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-IEW-C-CT, Building 1 201E, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5015. Previous suppliers are requested to respond. Responses must include the following at a minimum: 1. Documentation such as test results, test/repair procedures, copy of purchase order(s) if the supplier was a vendor/subco ntractor to the listed source or a statement from listed source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, successfully provide this service. 2.Past Performance for identified items or similar items specifying part number(s), NSN(s) and last manufacturi ng/production date(s), in addition to Government contract numbers, if applicable. Nomenclature(s) of end-items where tubes were to be used, if known. 3.Specify the quality standard (whether Government or Industry) that shall be in place for this effort. 4. Supporting data to show availability of adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable interested source, or its subcontractors, to repair these items and warrant that they will satisfactorily perform in compliance with t he purpose intended when used by the Army, upon return to serviceability. 5.Specify U.S. Government security level currently held.
