Description

Migration of automated acquisition system from character based Jam application to GUI Windows based Panther application. The Watervliet Arsenal (WVA)s Automated Acquisition System (AAS) is used to generate acquisition and turn-in requests and to track the progress of forms documenting those requests as they move through the WVA offices that process those documents. The AAS system was designed to be maintained by WVA IT personnel through a corresponding set of applications known as the OASYS tool set. This is considered to be sole source procurement as licensing and development of the Automated Acquisition System (AAS) JAM platform is solely owned by one vendor. This vendor is the owner of the technical data required to upgrading the AAS system to the latest version of the JAM product known as Panther. PLEASE NOTE: This requirement is part of the financial plan for FY2007 and is unfunded at this time. Solicitation W911PT-07-Q-0023 will be posted on 11/2/2006 and will close 11/24/2006. Anticipate d award date is on or before 12/30/2006, award will be made contingent upon funding. Telephonic requests for copies of the solicitation will not be accepted.
