- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with FAR FAC 2005-09, April 19, 2006. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This contract action will be issued by Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition and Procurement Office (WHS A&PO), Washington DC. The WHS intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Snow Removal & Ice Treatments at The Federal Office Building 2, The Hybla Valley, and The Air Force Memorial in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The Period of Performance is one base year and one option year. Base Year is 17 Nov 2006 - 30 Sept 2007. Option 1 Year is 1 Oct 2007 - 30 Sept 2008. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation Number FOB206279SV131. The NAICS code 488490 applies to this solicitation. The size standard is $6.5 million dollars. ALL PERSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS ARE REQUIRED TO CONTACT KORTNEE STEWART OR JIM MACK TO OBTAIN A COPY OF THE PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT, CLIN STRUCTURE, INSTRUCTION TO OFFERORS, AND ALL EXHIBITS. Pursuant to FAR Clause 52.212-1, the following instructions are hereby incorporated and encouraged by the Government prior to submission of offer in response to this solicitation. NOTE: All prospective offerors are encouraged to attend a site survey on November 8th at 10 am for Federal Office Building 2 / Air Force Memorial AND another site survey on November 9th at 10 am for Hybla Valley. Each prospective contractor is allowed only two individuals for attendance. The following information must be submitted to Kortnee Stewart by 1600 on November 6th in order for admission to the site survey locations: Company Name; Individuals Name; License Plate Number; and Drivers License Number/State of Issue. Once required information is obtained by Kortnee Stewart, directions to the locations will be given.
