- Description
- The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a Purchase Order to Group 1 Software, Inc., a Pitney Bowes Company of Bethesda, MD for the renewal of maintenance support on Finalist Software (Government-owned) for the period of 12/01/2006 through 11/30/2007. The maintenance support shall include possible upgrades over the period, updates, fixes and technical support and is currently know to be available only through Group 1 Software, Inc. This software is used to (1) assist SSA in managing the address information in the customer/master files and (2) corrects address elements on public mailings. Other organizations that believe they are capable of meeting the SSA requirements are invited to submit information establishing a bona fide capability to fulfill this requirement. If the SSA does not identify other acceptable sources capable of providing this requirement, the agency shall issue a sole source award of the product and maintenance under FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisitions. This is NOT a Request for Proposal and the Government does not intend to pay for information submitted. Requests for copies of a solicitation will not be honored or acknowledged. Respondents will NOT be notified of the results of the information received. Verbal responses are NOT acceptable and will not be considered. Responses to this notice must be submitted by November 16, 2006 by 12:00 PM EST. Responses may be sent via E-MAIL ONLY to the point of contact listed below. NO PHONE CALLS OR FAXES WILL BE ACCEPTED. No submissions may exceed 5MB.
