- The Portland District, US Army Corps of Engineers intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price supply contract to provide turbine runner internal parts for Unit 16 at the John Day Lock and Dam, John Day, Oregon. The work consists of casting and ro ugh machining of bronze bushings, application of self-lubricating material on these bushings, fabrication, and final machining of steel parts. The steel parts are forgings, structural steel, castings, and specialty steel. This requirement also provides for new fasteners, gaskets, and o-rings. This solicitation is a total small business set-aside utilizing the associated NAICS Code 332999, with a size standard of 500 employees.
