- SPM4A7-07-R-0248. This is a solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price Contract for one NSN. This solicitation will consist of the following NSN: 1615-00-018-0835, Cap Assembly, Tip, IAW Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, Cage 78286, P/N 65160-00009-082. The quantity for this solicitation is 172 each. This item is on the Air Force?s Critical Safety Item list as of 11/7/2006, as sole source to Sikorsky. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Required delivery is 180 days ARO or best possible, FOB Origin. Origin Inspection is required. This procurement is intended as an unrestricted Letter RFP procurement, anticipated to award against Sikorsky?s current Basic Ordering Agreement. Other than full and open competition. Any manufacturer other than the approved source wishing to submit a proposal must submit a complete source approval package. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Anticipated issue date is December 21, 2006. The Letter RFP solicitation will be posted on DIBBS at www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil. A paper copy of this Solicitation will not be available to requestors.
