- Description
- DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Mine Safety and Health Administration is seeking sources for obtaining on-site instructor led hands-on instruction in the following courses to agency users. The majority of courses would be held in on or more of these MSHA office locations: Denver, Colorado; Arlington, Virginia; Triadelphia, West Virginia; or Beckley, West Virginia. It is possible that other offices could request on-site training in another location. The student manuals for this course could either be the product developed by Hummingbird (preferred), or be the instructor?s own materials. Preferably, the Instructor should be familiar with MSHA data. All student exercises for the classes must use MSHA data and relate to real world examples. Class size will be determined by MSHA. We expect the average class size to be 15-20, but MSHA will make the final decision on the number of students for any given class. MSHA expects that the first onsite class will begin no earlier than November 27, 2006 and end no later than December 29, 2006. COURSE INFORMATION: The following describes the different courses MSHA has scheduled in the past. The intro level courses are the most popular, and are generally offered more often than the advanced level courses. Advanced BI Query Building (v 8.5.1 and v 9.0) 1-day course anticipated Instructor led hands-on advanced level course to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the advanced capabilities of BI/Query User.
