- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to extend contract DTFAWA-05-C-00012 with DLT Solutions Incorporated for three additional years. This contract extension will convert current Oracle term licenses into perpetual license. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (FAAAMS) paragraph 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA's decision to extend the current contract with a selected source. Oracle products are used extensively in the FAA. A significant majority of the mission-critical air traffic control and transportation operational support systems use Oracle Core technology. On November 30, 2004 the FAA entered into a five year agreement with DLT Solutions to provide the FAA with an enterprise user based site license, referred to as the Oracle Enterprise License Agreement (OELA). The current Oracle software licenses that will be converted from term to perpetual licenses are: Database-Enterprise Edition, Standard Edition and Personal Edition Diagnostics, Tuning and Change Management Packs Real Application Clusters (RAC, Parallel Server) Web DB (Portal, Internet Application Server Enterprise Edition) Partitioning Intermedia (included within the Database license) Spatial Advanced Security and Cartridge Options Designer, Developer, Programmer, Jdeveloper (internet Developer Suite) SQL *Plus (Included in the Database) Discover Admin, User and Viewer Editions Developer Server and Application Server (Internet Application Server Enterprise Edition) Content Services (Files) A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
