- Arcata Associates Inc., on behalf of NASA Dryden has a requirement for a POWER AND MONITORING CONTROL SYSTEM for the ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM. THIS PORTION OF THE JOB WOULD CONSIST OF CONDUIT INSTALLATION ONLY. The statement of work is attached to this solicitation This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, which is issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP); proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 1. A site survey will be required as a condition of this project and will be held during the week of NOV 27 - DEC 1. IF YOU DO NOT ATTEND THE SITE SURVEY, YOUR PROPOSAL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS. Email your date preference to arcata.procurement@mail.dfrc.nasa.gov by NOV 15. A notice will be emailed back to all potential bidders as to the date, time and location. The following must be submitted along with the email selecting your date preference for the site visit. The following information is needed for visitor requests and must be submitted along with the date preference email: a. Name of Person(s) b. SSN - Last 4 digits c. Place of Birth d. Date of Birth e. Drivers License Number, Issuing State, Expiration Date f. Citizenship. If not a US Citizen, provide Alien Number. A passport and naturalization papers will also be requested. 2. After completion of the site survey, questions regarding this acquisition must be submitted in writing (e-mail is preferred) no later than DECEMBER 8, 2006. All questions and responses will be posted to this solicitation no later than DECEMBER 15, 2006. 3. ONE (1) ORIGINAL AND SIX (6) COPIES OF ALL PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN BINDERS OR FOLDERS. COST SHEETS MUST BE SUBMITTED IN BINDERS OR FOLDERS SEPARATE FROM THE PROPOSALS. ALL PROPOSALS MUST BE RECEIVED IN THIS OFFICE NO LATER THAN 11:00 AM ON DECEMBER 22, 2006. PROPOSALS CAN BE HAND DELIVERED OR MAILED. NO EMAILED PROPOSALS WILL BE ACCEPTED. THIS OFFICE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THE 11:00 AM DEADLINE AND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. 4. NO BROKERS WILL BE PERMITTED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. 5. ONLY INDIVIDUALS CAPABLE OF OBTAINING OR HOLDING A SECURITY CLEARANCE WILL BE PERMITTED TO BID ON THIS PROJECT. THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. 6. It is the quoter's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). Potential quoters will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the on-line RFP and amendments (if any).
