Description

This notice is issued to obtain commercial sources qualified and interested in providing a commercial item proposal prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.602 for providing afterhours telephone answering service for a military medical treatment facility located at Ellsworth AFB, SD. Estimated caller volume is 200 incoming and 200 outgoing calls per month. There is no requirement for the contractor to be located in South Dakota. The contractor shall provide for all supplies, transportation costs if any, and all labor requirements for this service. The performance period is 1 December 2006 to 30 September 2007. This solicitation will be as a 100% Hubzone small business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit an offer. The Standard Industry Classification Code is 7389 and the Small Business Size Standard is $6.5M. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 13 Novermber 2006. The solicitation may be obtained by downloading through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) (Vendor). Hard copies will not be available. Offerors must register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), online at https://www.bpn.gov/CCR/scripts/index.html and must also register at the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) website https://orca.bpn.gov/. Only one contract will be awarded. Award will be made to the lowest price offer meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards. To be considered technically acceptable, the contractor certifies with a signed statement that his proposal includes all the support services outlined in the Statement of Work.
