Description

The White Sands Directorate of Contract intends to modify contract W9124Q-05-C-0354 Synovision Solutions, LLC, 6237 Garretson Street, Burke, VA 22015-3521 on a sole source basis. This modification will extend the contract through 31 March 2007 to a llow for completion of ongoing tasks and projects in support of the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF). Synovision Solutions, LLC provides the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF) with in-depth technical research on complex issues. Synovision Solutions, LLC is currently the only responsible contractor that has the experience and the trained staffing already in place to be able to perform the required tasks under contract. This is a notice of intent to modify the existing contract in accordance with FAR 5.201(b) (1) (ii) and not a request for proposal. This contract extension is required to allow the government time to develop and compete the follow-on requirement. It is anticipated that the follow on contract will be the result of a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set aside competitive acquisition. We are requesting SDVOSBs capable of supporting this requirement to provide their capabilities statements as a part of our market research for the follow-on require ment. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541330 with a size standard of $25,000,000.00. Interested firms are requested to provide capabilities statements to Daniel Balizan at Daniel.Balizan@us.army.mil within forty-five (45) days of the date of this n otice. See note 22.
