- This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures at FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Solicitation Number N00164-07-T-0019 http://www.crane.navy.mil/supply/synopcom.htm is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. This proposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, American Technology Corp, 15378 Avenue of Science, San Diego , CA 92128-3407 , in accordance with Far 6.302-1(a)(ii). This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 ? Qty 12 each, Refurbishment of LRADs, In accordance with the Statement of Work. Delivery is required F.O.B. NSWC Crane, IN 47522 within 30 days after award of order. Final inspection and acceptance will be at destination. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation may be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. ?All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE #22 Note: This requirement is being issued as a sole source to Raytheon Company, 1010 Production Road , Fort Wayne , IN., 46808-4106. The Government does not possess the Level III drawing package to allow for full and open competition. The Level III drawing package is proprietary to Raytheon Company. This equipment is in support of the ARIES II/SSIP/JCC common configurations of the EP-3E reconnaissance signal aircraft.
