- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Annex, proposes to contract for a Customer Service Agent and lodging facilities (one bedroom apartment/suite) to be utilized by Norfolk Naval Shipyard personnel under Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY) at the Pearl Harbor Submarine Base in Honolulu, HI. This procurement is being solicited on an unrestricted basis (NAIC 561599) utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition and FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. An Indefinite Delivery/Requirements type contract is anticipated with services required during the period of 02 January 2007 through 19 April 2007. LODGING DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS: Accommodations shall be a one bedroom furnished apartment/suite with bathroom, a separate living room and kitchen area (minimum of 500 sq ft). All units, as a minimum require the following furnishings: Kitchen Area: Microwave, refrigerator/freezer, stove with self-cleaning oven and a sink. Kitchen furnishing shall include a service for four and a house ware packet (to be detailed in written solicitation). Living Area: Sofa, additional love set or chair, coffee table, one end table, two table lamps or floor lamps, dining table with a minimum of two chairs, TV stand or cabinet w/color TV (Min 19 inches) with basic cable or satellite reception, DVD player in proper operating condition. Bedroom: One double bed, two pillows, one blanket, one mattress pad, one sheet set, one dresser, one mirror, one nightstand, one lamp, and one alarm clock radio. Area shall include a closet or clothes hanging space with twelve clothes hangers Bathroom: Toilet, sink and bathtub/shower-combination with shower curtain/liner or shower doors, a working exhaust fan or exterior window, electrical outlet convenient to sink area and a mirror with adequate lighting. Hot water shall be available 24 hrs per day. A complete list of bathroom furnishings will be detailed in the written solicitation. Maid Services: To be provided on a weekly basis, at a minimum, or upon each change of occupancy whichever comes first. A complete list of the required services shall be detailed in the written solicitation. Location: Apartment/suite shall be as close as possible to, but not more than fifteen (15) miles, traveling the main routes, to the front entrance of Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, Pearl Harbor, HI. The Government anticipates an estimated requirement for 62 units during the period of 02 Jan 07 through 19 Apr 07. All lodging accommodations must be located in the same complex or in a multi-complex within one driving mile perimeter. Copies of the written solicitation pkg shall be forwarded to interested parties electronically. Offerors proposing as a Broker shall submit with their proposal, a copy of the written agreement authorizing the prime/sub-contracting arrangement with the lodging facility.
