- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, San Diego, CA, on behalf of the Naval Air Station (NAS), Lemoore, CA is soliciting proposals for base + four (4) option years indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for delivery of winter caustic soda (strength is 30%) and summer caustic soda (strength is 50%) to be delivered on a monthly basis to the Water Plant at NAS Lemoore. Monthly delivery dates shall be coordinated with the Water Plant manager. Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) required. The winter caustic soda (30% strength) shall be delivered from November through March; the summer caustic soda (50% strength) shall be delivered from April through October. The contractor will provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for this procurement. The period of performance is separated by Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) as follows: Line Item 0001: five (5) months of winter caustic soda (30% strength) from the award date of the contract (approximate ly 21 November 2006) through 31 March 2007, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0002: seven (7) months of summer caustic soda (50% strength) from 1 April 2007 through 31 October 2007, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0003 (option): five (5) months of winter caustic soda (30% strength) from 1 November 2007 through March 31, 2008, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0004 (option): seven (7) months of summer caustic soda (50% strength) from 1 April 2008 through 31 October 2008, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0005 (option): five (5) months of winter caustic soda (30% strength) from 1 November 2008 through 31 March 2009, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0006 (option): seven (7) months of summer caustic soda (50% strength) from 1 April 2009 through 31 October 2009, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0007 (option): five (5) months of winter caustic soda (30% strength) from 1 November 2009 through 31 March 2010, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0008 (option): seven (7) mont hs of summer caustic soda (50% strength) from 1 April 2010 through 31 October 2010, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0009 (option): five (5) months of winter caustic soda (30% strength) from 1 November 2010 through 31 March 2011, 4,000 gallons per month; Line Item 0010: seven (7) months of summer caustic soda (50% strength) from 1 April 2011 through 31 October 2011, 4,000 gallons per month. NAICS Code 422690 and business size standard of 100 employees is applicable. This is a 100% HUBZone Small Business set-aside. Responses to the solicitation must be received by the Contracting Officer by 10:00 AM Pacific time on 17 November 2006 referencing N00244-07-R-0012.
