Description

The purpose of Amendment 2 is to answer the following questions received in response to the solicitation. 1) Please provide a list of expendable parts. A comprehensive list of expendable parts cannot be provided for this solicitation. Please refer to section 3 of the Performance Work Statement as a guide to what an expendable part will constitute. 2) Item 88 - ECD or Electron Capture Detector - does contract coverage include "cleaning and refoiling" of the detectors? Cleaning and refoiling of Item 88, the Electron Capture Detectors, is not required under this contract. 3) Contract Period: There is the Base Year and 2 Option Years. Please explain the definition of "Award Term Period - Years 1 and 2" (Attachments 5 and 6). It seems this is a possible 5-year contract. The Award Term Period constitutes 24 months. The equipment list is separated into two years so that you can provide pricing information for each year of the Award Term. The total length of the contract, if both Option Periods are exercised and the Award Term is earned, is 5 years.
