Description

This proposed procurement is 100% Set Aside for Small Businesses, SIC 0782/NAICS 561730. The Government intends to procure through Simplified Acquisition Procedures (commercial items). Estimated cost of services is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000, 000.00. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. Competitive proposals will be evaluated based on the evaluation criteria set forth in the solicitation package. The initial base year period of perfor?mance is 1 February 2 007 through 31 January 2008 and four follow on option years (if exercised). Work consists of providing all services, materials, supplies, supervision, labor, and equipment to provide grounds maintenance services consisting of grass cutting, edging pavemen ts and curbs, cutting vegetation, trimming hedges, mulching, weeding, soil analysis, aerating, fertilizing, seeding, applying lime, policing grounds, removing leaves, removing fallen trees, pruning trees, providing erosion control, street sweeping, and the removal of ice and snow at the Washington Aqueduct Properties, Washington, D.C. In order to comply with the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, all contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be considered for awar d of a Federal contract. The initial registration date expired 31 May 1998. It is imperative that all small disadvantaged business contact their cognizant Small Business Administration Office to obtain Small Disadvantaged Business Certification. Without SBA SDB certification, a prime contractor nor a federal agency can recei ve SDB credit when utilizing non-certified SDB contractors/subcontractors. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Technical Data Solution System (FedTeDS) -- a one-time re gistration process for vendors/contractors -- Accounts may only be attained by CCR-registered contractors/vendors, go to www.fedteds.gov for additional information.
