Description: The work requires the procurement and installation of two new complete automated barrier systems, each with power supply system, and associated monitoring/alarm/ notification system. The barrier systems are required to be installed on the crest of Lahontan Dam, one near the left abutment and one near the right abutment. All requirements listed below pertain to each of the two new barrier systems. The work includes the removal of existing barriers from the south end of the dam. Lahontan Dam is located about 18 miles west of Fallon, in Churchill County, Nevada. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 11/28/06. Proposals will be due on or about 12/28/06.
