- Description
- The U.S. Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) intends to negotiate on a single source basis with Coastal America Foundation, Bellingham, Massachusetts to sponsor the 2nd National Student Summit on Ocean Issues scheduled for December 2006. This is a continuation of a previous project. The Coastal America Foundation is the organizer and designer of the event. The focus of the Summit is for students to collaborate with national officials on how to communicate with America's youth to stimulate ocean change and promote careers in environmental fields. Notwithstanding the Government's intent to negotiate this requirement on a single source basis under the authority of 41 USC 253 (c)(1), responsible sources may submit a statement of qualifications which will be considered by NOAA.
