The government intends to solicit and negotiate a contract with Digital Security Controls (DSC). DSC shall provide 24 hour per day, 7 day per week maintenance support for each hardware end item, item sub component, and module that compose the integrated whole of the MLR-2000 alarm receiver. The contractor shall also provide 24 hour per day, 7 day per week maintenance support for all operating system software and system firmware running on and integral to the operation of the MLR-2000 alarm receiver. This synopsis is being published for information purposes only. Notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider any interest received within five (5) business days of the issuance of this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Interested contractors will be required to demonstrate that they have the capability to begin repair/return to service within 30 minutes of notification of MLR-2000 failure by the government and to return the MLR-2000 to full service within four (4) hours of the time the contractor begins to provide recovery support (remote or on-site support).
