Description

The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (AMCOM), Huntsville, AL proposes to acquire, on a sole sources basis from McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company (MDHC), continued Post Production System Support (PPSS) requirements for the AH-64A Apache Helic opter. The AH-64A Apache requirements include Program Management, Configuration Management, Integrated Logistics Support, Technical Publications Update, Engineering Services, Engineering Studies, and Categrory 1, Production Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDR s). The Government intends to award a sole source contract to MDHC, 5000 East McDowell Road Mesa, AZ, 85215-0707 under the authority of justification for Other than Full and Open Competition of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), will only be satisfied by one source o r a limited number of sources are able to satisfy agency requirements. The contract will also include two (2) 12 month option periods for PPSS, PQDRs and various engineering studies. The performance completion date for the basic contract is 12 months. Ther e is no technical data package and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by AMCOM. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the contracting officer. See N umbered Note: 22.
