Description

AN/VDR-2 Sole Source Synopsis The US Army Communications and Electronics Life Cycle Management Command anticipates entering into a sole source procurement with Canberra Dover located at 58 Richboynton Rd; Dover, NJ 07801-2650. The Government intends to procure the AN/VDR-2 Radiation, Detection, Indication, and Computation (Radiac) Sets, NSN: 6665-01-222-1625. This requirement is under the authority and justification of 10 U.S.C 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1) based on the determination that the Government needs can be satisfied by only one source. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. The right to use the data needed to purchase this part from additional sources is not owned by the Government and cannot be purchased, developed or otherwise ob tained by the knowledge of the Government. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by this Agency. This acquisit ion is a Firm Fixed Price- Requirements-Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established the Interactive Interagency Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website to allow elect ronic transmittal of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bid (IFBs) from CECOM to Industry. Registration for a user and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to CECO M through the IBOP.
