As a result of its market research, the requiring activity has indicated that the Altec, AC35-127S is a decent EXAMPLE of a crane that can meet thier needs. This is absolutely NOT a Brand Name or Equal acquisition. The aforementioned name and part number is provided only to help describe the nature of the requirement. This acquisition is open to ALL manufacturers and vendors. The requiring activity has no preference whatsoever and will fairly consider any brand of crane that meets the above salient characteristics. The delivery order will be placed in the aggregate with the vendor who offers the Best Value to the Government in accordance with FAR 13.106. When determining Best Value, factors that will be considered are: delivery time, technical qualifications, special features, warranty considerations, and price. Please submit any literature, information, or specifications that will aid in the evaluation process. It will not be the Government?s responsibility to seek/obtain additional information. *PLEASE PROVIDE AS DESTAILED A QUOTE AS POSSIBLE.
