Project Title: Construct River Mountains Loop Trail; Full Park Name: Lake Mead National Recreation Area; City, State: Boulder City, Nevada. Solicitation Number: N8000070903. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of the above named project. Description: The work of this contract consists of the general construction of approximately 17.3 miles (91,583 lineal feet) of 12 foot wide asphaltic concrete or reinforced Portland cement concrete pedestrian and bike shared use pathway and approximately 3.3 miles (17,600 lineal feet) of 5 foot wide graded and compacted equestrian pathway. It includes four crossings of an existing water pipeline, a series of drainage culverts and low water crossings, revegetation by selected replacement of native topsoil and five connections to existing Trail. The NAICS code for this project is: 237310 and the small business size standard is $31.0 million. Contract duration is: 270 days following notice to proceed. The price range for this contract is between $3,000,000.00 and $4,000,000.00. This procurement is a Request for Proposal (RFP) and is subject to the provisions of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. In addition, this procurement is offered as 100% set-aside for HubZone firms. All responsible HubZone business sources may submit a proposal, which if submitted in a timely manner, will be considered.
