Description

Charleston AFB intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Gentex Corporation for purchase of Gentex MMH II Helmets. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a), full and open competition need not be provided when there is Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supply or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. North American Industrial Classification Standard, 339113, Size Standard, 500 employees, applies to this procurement. The following clause applies to this solicitation: FAR 52.232-33 ? Payment by Electronic funds Transfer ? Central Contractor Registration. Vendors must be actively registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov . Contractors are asked to submit their TAX ID number with their proposal. Please send responses with solicitation number F1M2M36293A100 via email or FAX to (843) 963-5183.
