Description: The work consists of clearing and grubbing; excavation of mandatory drainage canal; Mandatory Contractor furnished borrow and (a minimal) available Govt furnished borrow; placing uncompacted and compacted embankment; fertilizing, seeding, and mulchi ng; placing surfacing material; constructing access/haul road and ramps; and other incidental work. Work area contains recently filled drainage canal which may require special earth moving equipment (marsh buggy) or special construction considerations. A Request for Proposal will be issued on or about November 22, 2006, and the Proposal Due Date will be on or about December 12, 2006. The estimated value of this work is $25,000,000.00-$100,000,000.00. THIS IS A BEST VALUE PROCUREMENT, AND IT IS ISSUED A S UNRESTRICTED. NAICS Code: 237990.
