Description

The government intends to solicit and award a commercial firm fixed price purchase order for the maintenance for calibration of cargo weighing scales utilizing full and open competition IAW FAR 6.2. The required services are as follows: 1 year for scales listed in RFQ N00189-06-T-0051 for Commander Navy Region Mid-Atlantic.1. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available by downloading the documents at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. This office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the contractor will be self certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to so represent may be grounds for refusing to accept the quote. By submission of a quote, the offeror acknowledges that a prospective awardee must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award, during performance of the order and through final apartment of the purchase order. Failure to register on CCR may make an offeror ineligible for award. The solicitation will be posted on or about 17 November 2006.and close on or about 27 November 2006.
