- Description
- The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, labor, materials, and supplies as required performing various construction projects identified by each individual task order issued. Task orders will be issued from the Birmingham Service Center, AL. The procedures and methods established in the specification per each individual delivery order will serve as a guide for all parties involved ensuring that tenants and the GSA receive the services specified in this contract. The Contracting Officer?s Representative or Technical Representative will ensure conformance to the performance standards by documenting the contractor's performance by means of inspection, minutes of meetings, GSA and customer surveys. In accordance with the provisions in Federal Acquisition Regulations FAR Part 17, the period of performance for this procurement will be a base period of 12 months with the possibility of two (2) one (1) year option renewal periods. The total contract performance period should not exceed three (3) years and months. For a copy of the solicitation, contact Howard Stover at Howard.Stover@gsa.gov Questions 1. As we analyze each line item to come up with a firm percentage (minus, plus or net), we assume that the estimated unit prices listed for all 324 CLINS are loaded amounts (OH, G&A, Profit). Should we make this assumption as we compare the Government estimates to our costs? Your assumption is correct. I cannot emphasis enough that you cannot bid individually on all the lines; for example, you cannot bid plus 5 for line item 001 and plus 7 for 002. You must bid the same price for all the line items. If you submit different prices for individual line items, your bid will be considered non-responsive and rejected. 2. Also can you clarify the time allowance for; start of work, time of performance of work and completion time? It will be different for each task order 3. Since we will be supplying material and labor to areas outside of our corporate office, we will be allowed lead time for material production and administrative/travel time? It will be different for each task order 4. Which RS Means for Construction guide are you using as the Government's standard? 2005 NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (17-NOV-2006); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
