Description
This is a Request for Information and is not a Request for Proposal/Request for Quotation (RFP/RFQ) in accordance with FAR 15.201? and (e). This information is being sought for purposes of market research as a tool for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of UNICOR, FPI. No solicitation exists, therefore please do not request a copy of such. If, in the future a solicitation is released, all sources that submit a package in response to this RFI will be notified of the requirement. Responses to this Request for Information shall submit in the following format: Part A: A Capabilities Statement and Technical Experience outlining their ability to perform as it pertains to this RFI. Part B: Past Performance: Performance on projects of similar or like scope of this magnitude. Please include the company/organization to which this type project was performed as well as a description of the type project, dollar value of the project, point of contact, and phone number. Part C: Business Size Standard: Type and Size of Organization/Company; e.g. Large Business , Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned Business, 8(a), etc. Part D: Comments on the SAP Platform Upgrade/Evaluation: UNICOR, Federal Prison Industries is asking the industry to provide any comments/suggestions on this project that could produce an end result that would be a more qualifying approach or strategy than what is currently being used. Responses to this Request for Information shall be identified with RFI No. MISB0001-07. Responses shall be no more that thirty five pages in length and in Microsoft Word file format. Two hard copies shall be sent to the attention of Joscie L. Barnes, Contracting Officer, UNICOR, FPI, Interagency Solutions/Procurement Branch ? 7th Floor, 400 First Street, NW, Washington, DC 20534. This information shall not be received no later than December 12, 2006 at 2:00 pm. An email copy may be sent to: jbarnes@central.unicor.gov but the accepted method is hard copies. Acknowledgement of receipt of responses will not be made, nor will respondents be notified of UNCOR?s view of the information or it?s intent for any future procurements of this nature. Any questions or comments in response to this Request for Information shall be done so in writing to the attention of the Contracting Officer at the above referenced email address. Telephone inquiries will not be honored due to the technical aspects of this RFI. See additional attached documents to this Notice.
