Description

The VAMC Asheville has a need for a Board Certified/Board Eligible M.S. or PH.D. in Health Physics from an accredited University to provide radiation protection surveys in the Imaging and Nuclear Medicine Departments. The On-Site Health Physicist must provide documentation of certification by one of the following boards: American Board of Radiology, American Board of Health Physics, or American board of Medical Physics. Services shall be provided in accordance with all terms, conditions, and provisions of the resulting contract for one (1) year from date of award with four (4) one (1) year option periods to be exercised at the opton of the government. The total duration of the contract shall not exceed five (5) years. The applicable NAICS code is 541990. Size standard is $6.5M. This is 100% smalll business set aside. The procurement will be conducted utilizing the commercial item procedures of FAR 12 in conjunction with FAR 15. Solicitation packages will be available on or about November 20, 2006. Proposals will be due on or about December 1, 2006. No hard copy solicitations will be provided. solicitaion documents may be obtained electronically at www2.fbo.gov
