Description
The requirement for Visual Information Services was originally identified under Solicitation Number FA7000VI. This is a pre-solicitation notice for those services and all notices from this point on will be posted under solicitation FA7000-07-R-0007. The service provider shall provide all management, tools, supplies and labor necessary to provide Visual Information Services in support of the Public Affairs office at the United States Air Force Academy, Colorado. These services include photography, graphics, TV Distribution and TV Production as will be outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). It is the government?s intent to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) in support of awarding a Firm-Fixed Price service contract with reimbursement for government required travel. The proposed period of performance will include a base one-year period and four (4) one-year option periods. This requirement will be set aside as a competitive 8(a) acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 561210, with a small business size standard of $23,000,000. It is anticipated the solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 8 Dec 2006 on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web page at http://www.fbo.gov. Due date for receipt of proposals will be indicated in the solicitation document when it is released. Attached is a draft milestone for some of the key dates in support of this acquisition. Once the solicitation is posted on FBO, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates or amendments. It should be noted that paper copies of documents will not be provided. All documents submitted must meet the requirements defined in Sections L of the solicitation and be submitted in the formats identified. Offerors must be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR) or they may be considered non-responsive and may not be considered for award. Registration can be accomplished at http://www.ccr.gov. As of 01 Jan 2005, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires the use of Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in Federal solicitations as part of the proposal submission process. Representations and Certifications are to be accomplished in the database at https://orca.bpn.gov/. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dun and Bradstreet and can be obtained at www.dnb.com. As registration may take up to three weeks to process, it is recommended offerors register immediately in order to be eligible for award.
