- Description
- The Government has a requirement for leasing eight 10K variable reach forklifts with 60 inch forks and two 10K variable reach forklifts with 72 inch forks to lift and off load ISU-90, Tricon and Quadcon containers, with a maximum capacity of 10K (108 x 90 ) in support of operations. Lease period will be approximately 6 months. All equipment must be in place no later than 14 days of contract approval. The required equipment will be used at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Delivery of the required equipment will be to the following locations: 1st BCT (2 x 60 ); 2nd BCT (2 x 60 ), 4th BCT (2 x 60 ); DSTB (2 x 60 ); and SUS BDE (2 x 72 ) motorpools. The contra ctor will be escorted to each site location. Contractor will be responsible for the cost of preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, to include normal wear and tear of equipment and tires. Upon delivery and return of equipment a joint inspection will be conducted and annotations will be made of condition of equipment. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 532490. The requirement that all contractors doing business with the Department of Defense be registered with CCR (http://www.bpn.gov/ccr/scrits/index.htlm). The entire solicitation will be issued electronically at the Army Single Face to Indutry website (http://www.bragg.army.mil/www-doc/Contractors/SOLICIT.HTM). The solicitation, attachments and specifications will only be available by downloading the documents from the AFSI website. All prospective offerors are responsible for obtaining the solicitation, any amendments or any other information from the Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting website. It is ther efore the contractor's responsibility to check the website frequently/daily for the solicitation and any posted changes to the solicitation. When issued, the solicitation will specify the actual date and time for proposal receipt. No telephone requests wi ll be honored.
