- The 96 Contracting Squadron, Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for a Truck Mounted Lift System . This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F1T0CY6313A100. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333924, with a small business size standard of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. This requirement is for CLIN 0001, QTY (1) pickup truck mounted hydraulic boom/electric winch lifting system with a 1000 pound lifting weight capability. The system will be compatible with and installed vendor on a 2007 Model Chevrolet Silverado long wheelbase pick-up truck. The system when stored must allow at least 80% of the pickup bed to be used with factory installed tailgate intact and in closed position. Lifting system must be designed so that one person can lift heavy & bulky items from ground level to the bed of truck and back. QTY (1) Unit must also have a forklift attachment for lifting pallet loads in the same manner. Items to be lifted but not limited to pallets, aircraft pylons, instrumented pods, missiles, and miscellaneous aircraft parts. The system must be installed in a manner that allows the vehicle to be returned to standard configuration with only minor modifications.QTY (1) One ? Shipping.
