- The purpose of this amendment is to address questions and answers and to extend the solicitation response date to no later that 3:00 p.m. PST on 4 December 2006. 1. Can materials other than fiberglass, but equally durable, be used in constructing these models? Alternate appropriate materials may be used and will be considered by the Government. Models shall be lightweight. 2. Are these two models going to be on permanent display or will they move? Permanent display. The larger of the two models shall have to be assembled on site in order to fit into the building. 3. Please confirm the required position of the landing gear, up or down? Landing gear up, no landing gear shall be visible, just the gear pods. 4. Is there a bolt pattern and bolt specification or should the contractor provide our own for the belly mount? The larger of the two models shall be suspended from the ceiling. Contractor shall provide appropriate suspension specifications. Contractor shall suspend model from the ceiling. The smaller of the two models shall be belly mounted to the wall. 5. Are paper drawings or CAD files available from the Government? There are no paper drawings or CAD files available from the Government.
