Description

(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. (I I) Solicitation W911S7-07-T-0012 is being issued as a request for quotation. (III) This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses for commercial items in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-13. (IV) This acquisition is 100 % set-aside f or small business. The associated NAICS Code for this acquisition is 335311, small business size standard is 750 employees. (V) STATEMENT OF WORK: The General Leonard Wood Community Hospital (Facilities Management Branch), Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri is s oliciting to purchase on-site one time preventative maintenance service for four (4) Government-owned generators. Contact Directorate of Contracting, Fort Leonard Wood, MO for full solicitation and specification. See POC information below. (VII) PLACE OF P ERFORMANCE: GLWACH, Fort Leonard Wood, MO. (VIII) The following provisions in their latest edition Solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial. (IX) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Governm ent will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offer s: Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. (X) FAR 52.212-3, Offerors Representations and Certifications-Commercial items (Offerors shall include completed copy as part of their quote. (XI) FAR 52.214-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial I tems is incorporated by reference and applies to this acquisition. (XII) FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, additional FAR clauses cited within the above clause, which are applic able, will be incorporated into the solicitation and resulting contract. (XIII) Service Contract Wage rates apply to this acquisition. The following clauses are incorporated by full text: FAR 52.222-41, Service Contract Act, FAR 52.232-36, Payment by a Thi rd Party and FAR 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated By Reference. (XV) All information relating to this solicitation, including performance schedule, special note s, pertinent specifications, changes/amendments, questions and answers will be available from the Directorate of Contracting, Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Formal communications such as request for clarifications and/or information concerning this solicitat ion must be submitted in writing or via e-mail to the address below. Offerors are requested to submit questions/clarifications to the e-mail address noted below not later than 12:00 PM central standard time, 6 December 2006. Terms of the solicitation and s pecifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgement and receipt of solicitation shall apply.
