Description
This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY. There is no solicitation package available at this time. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst is seeking Small Business sources that may be capable of producing and providing a Hand Held Threat Generator (HHTG) to support its AN/ALQ-210 Electronic Warfare Support Measures (ESM) System. NAICS 334511 applies. The HHTG must be user programmable (driven from the unit controls and from a PC using removable media), lightweight/one man portable, highly mobile test set that generates pulse and scan modulated radio frequency (RF) signals over the range of 500 MHz to 18 GHz. The RSS must be able to radiate through free space, using internal antennas, toward the ESM system allowing the user to evaluate the ESM operation or perform diagnostics. Additionally the HHTG must be self-contained, operated from internal batteries or external AC power. The tester must be operable in all flight line environmental climates, as well as in enclosed areas such as ashore hangars and afloat hangar bays. The tester?s data displays must be readable in full sunlight and darkness. The Government is looking for potential sources for this requirement. All interested parties should send company?s capability and/or descriptive literature, as well as any comments or questions to Nancy Delaney, e-mail: Nancy.Delaney@navy.mil, fax: (732) 323-2359 or address: Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Contracts, Code 25221ND, B562-3, Hwy 547, Lakehurst, NJ 08733-5082. All responses should be received no later than 15 December 2006. All questions and comments must be in writing, email is acceptable. All potential contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. For CCR information, contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center (RAC), at 888-227-2423 or for CCR registration at: http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government.
