Description

NOTICE OF INTENT The Contracting Center of Excellence, on behalf of the Office of the U.S. Army Soldiers Media Center (SMC), intends to negotiate a Sole Source award with Ifra Newsplex for a three day training course to be held on 11 Dec through 13 Dec 2006. Operated in cooperation with the University of South Carolina College of Journalism and Mass Communications, Columbia, SC., Ifra Newsplex possesses extensive experience in providing convergence communications training and consultation to media organization s around the world. Ifra Nexsplex is uniquely staffed and trained, with the experience necessary for the Soldiers Media Center to learn and incorporate the techniques of convergence into their media operations. Given this and the conformity with SMCs go als make them uniquely qualified to provide the training that SMC needs. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by 9:00 a.m. Thursday 6th Dec 2006. This notice is not a request for quotes. There is no solicitation document and no RFP will be available for competitive propos als.
