Description
NAICS Code: 812930 COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (U. S. EPA), Office of Acquisition Management, Headquarters Procurement Operations Division (HPOD) is seeking a contractor capable of providing eleven (11) reserved covered secured parking spaces for government-owned vehicles for the support of the U. S. EPA/Criminal Investigation Division (Boston Office), 50 Sudbury Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The period of performance is January 1, 2007 through December 31, 2007, with four one-year options. The contractor must be capable of providing these secured reserved parking spaces within a two (2) -block radius of U. S. EPA Criminal Investigation Division office location; must be able to provide covered parking; and a secured facility with twenty -four (24) hours, seven (7) days/week access. Parking for these vehicles need to be in close proximity of the office for quick departures for investigation of environmental crimes, gatherings of evidence, and meetings at U. S. Attorneys' Office and other Federal, State, and Local Departments. The U. S. Environmental Protection Agency intends to award a firm-fixed price purchase order, and services must be delivered on January 1, 2007. The services North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 812930. All quotes must be inclusive of all taxes and fees. The base year and each of the four one-year option periods shall be priced separately. The Government will evaluate quotes for award purposes by adding the total price for all options to the total price for the basic requirement. The Government may determine that a quote is unacceptable if the option prices are significantly unbalanced. Evaluation of options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option(s). The Government will award to the lowest price, technically acceptable contractor.
