Description

Back-Up Sight, NSN 6650-01-313-8946, P/N 9380400. Back-Up Sight is a five power (5X) ballistic periscope fixed power, day-light, monocular sight. The Back-Up Sight has a range estimating capability for sighting and firing the primary weapon (25 mil limeters) from the electrical stabilized turret of a Bradley Fighting Vehicle System. Estimated issue date 26 Dec 2006. Solicitation is for a firm-fixed contract restricted to Optex Systems. SYNOPSIZED FOR SUBCONTRACTING POSSIBILITIES ONLY. This solici tation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102, therefore hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: htt ps://aais.ria.army.mil/AAIS/Solinfo/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of the same.
